memory squares are a collection of commissions of clients most treasured moments. This series begun by painting little people by the sea, thus developing into an extension of the sea square series. However, I am not limited to this subject matter and am always open to painting anything or anyone. These original artworks much like an image are an intimate way of remembering a place, thing or person in time.

thus far all of memory squares have been painted in gouache on fabriano paper at 3 x 3 inch size. Some are framed in raw edge oak. I’m not limited to this size and there are various framing options.
most recently I’ve started painting memory squares in oil on canvas at a slightly larger size of 6 x 6 inch.
